Deposit and Final Payment
To reserve a General Tours tour, a non-refundable deposit is required at
the time of booking. Exact deposit amounts and final due dates differ
according to region of travel and type of travel, and can be determined
by using the chart below.
| Cruises and Cruise-tours | $400 per person | 90 days prior to departure |
| All other programs | $200 per person | 60 days prior to departure |
Trade fairs and holidays like New Year's, Oktoberfest and Carnival in
Venice may require early pre-payment. If a reservation is made after the
final payment due date, the entire price of the trip must be paid at the
time of confirmation. Tickets and other documents will not be available
until final payment is received.
General Tours reserves the right to cancel the reservation if payments
are not received within the specified periods.

All requests for refunds will be considered promptly, but they must be
in writing and received within 30 days of the return date of the tour.
Certain unused tour features are not refundable.
All of the General Tours' departures are guaranteed. However, tour managers,
modes of transportation and itinerary routings may change based on the
number of passengers on a guaranteed departure. Should problems beyond the
Tour Operator's control (such as civil unrest or acts of nature) force a
cancellation, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.
A minimum $30 fee will be charged per transaction for any changes made to
dates, hotels, or to ground or air transportation. When dates are changed
on these packages, it is considered a cancelled trip and cancellation
penalties will apply. Revisions to air tickets are subject to the rules
and regulations of the fare type purchased. Prices may vary depending on
the day of travel and airline class of service booked, which is determined
by airline seat availability. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Timetables and rates are subject to change, and
exceptions may apply for holiday departures; please confirm payment and
cancellation policies with your Vacations To Go travel counselor at time
of booking. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for
group bookings.
Purchase of the CSA Insurance Plan may reduce or eliminate the cancellation
and interruption fees outlined above. For more information please call
your Vacations To Go travel counselor.
